Hotel De Witte Hoeve in Venray

The staff association was officially created beginning 2009 by 3 employees from de Witte Hoeve consisting of Mr Niels van den Munckhof (president), Mr Mike Stevens (treasurer) and secretariat Mr. Nick van Houdt.

End 2008 they have officially registered at the chamber of commerce to make sure all goes by the rules of the government. They also opened up a bank account on which all tips and contribution will be gathered for later use to benefit our staff i.e. a present for someone’s birthday or a staff outing.

Unfortunately in our branch tips are minimal and the contribution of all the staff members is the main part of our bank account. In the future this part of the site will show the agenda of our staff association as well as some photographs.

The name Hoevemuus (barn mouse) comes from the past when Mr. Vosse started de Witte Hoeve was in a slightly worn out state. We had one little mouse living in de Witte Hoeve which was kind of tame and even walked up to the table when the staff was having lunch to see if there where any scraps left for him.

But then destiny struck and the front part of de Witte Hoeve burned down.

After reconstruction the mouse was never seen again and we fear that our beloved Hoevemuus died in the fire. In memory of this special little mouse we named our staff association after it.
